Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2021 My bf got this game for us to play. The game itself is fun, just like the DS version with more features. The biggest issue is that the developer does not put a clear warning on the game or case that you absolutely NEED screen protector to play this game. Bf played this game all night painting pictures. Once I wiped off the smears with a screen wipe, I saw the absolute damage the "sonar pen" did to the screen of my beloved Salmon switch lite. :( It is absolutely COVERED in scratches. Shame on the developer for not giving an upfront warning that their pen damages the uncovered Switch screen! Picture here does not reveal the full damage. I love art too and kind of reminds me of photoshop but for a switch. Wish they had a blending tool. The troubleshoot was very helpful especially when i bought my switch in 2018. The pen didnt connect right away to my switch and looked at the troubleshoot and read that there is a trick with 2018 switches which helped The only problem is it keeps freezing and i cant do anything. The way i fix that is hit the home button and go back to the game. Then like in 5 to 10 mins it freezes again and gets annoying. This failed on the accuracy and pressure sensitivity, has a strange clear circle on the top of the pencil that drags across, I have a screen protector so it doesn't scratch anything. As an experienced artist who also likes to just doodle and browse art, there's plenty to do! There is excellent art to be seen in the community pages and it's very inspiring. Something like 4million pieces of art to look at will not leave you dissatisfied.

I went in with low expectations, but this "game" is a surprisingly decent sketching program. The pen sensitivity is adjustable and responds well to light and hard pressing. The application also allows for layers and more so you can turn a sketch into a great piece. I wouldn't buy a Switch just for this game tho. If you already have a Switch, this is great for travel, outdoor and casual use. Otherwise, invest in a tablet and program for computer if you are serious.
